Can I work in the Czech Republic while I am studying?
Work while studying
Czech law allows students to work for a maximum of 20 hours per week, and the hourly cost varies from place to place and according to the agreement with the employer, but in most cases it ranges from 8 to 15 euros.
Work after graduation
Foreign students wishing to stay in the Czech Republic after graduation must obtain an EE card, which enables them to stay in the Czech Republic for an additional year. During this period, they can look for permanent work about 40 hours per week, and then obtain the Czech residency.
